Volunteer
The GGRO is three staff members and more than 250 community volunteers, all dedicated to studying the autumn hawk migration. The GGRO's guiding philosophy is that public involvement is a critical, yet often ignored component of long-term wildlife conservation. Be a part of citizen science in action—volunteer with the GGRO!

The 2009 migration season will begin August 17 and go through December 5.  Hawkwatchers will be counting hawks daily between 9:30am and 3:30pm, weather permitting - come visit Hawk Hill any time!  If you are interested in volunteering as a Hawkwatcher next fall,  call the office to get on the list of prospective volunteers for 2010 (415) 331-0730.

The work of the GGRO is made possible by our tireless volunteers and by generous donations from people like you. Please Make a Gift to the GGRO
